Hey all,

Back from my vacation and feeling refreshed!  Little did I know that my trip landed on my 13th week of updates.  This makes me feel a shred of relief, because – in the words of Michal Scott – I am not superstitious, but I am a little stitious.  Lol.

I wasn’t feeling it earlier today but now I am feeling enlivened as well as refreshed.  Getting back into doing this – blogging and other social media stuff – has pulled me out of the dolldrums and given me a little spark.

I worked on this site a little bit today and added in a new section for my project, Away Team, that I have been working on and trying to decide what format to put it in.  Ultimatley I decdide on the easiest one for me to do: as text.  I wanted to record it and post it on Itunes or something – which I probably still will do – but I have been feeling more than ever that time is of the essence.  So, the first ‘issue’ is up on the website in the Away Team tab, acompanied by some shitty AI art that I tried to do because, hey, at least it’s something.

This past week I was able to write about 9,000 words, just a little over.  I had set out with gusto to try and hit a 12,000 word week – and try to make up for some of the word count that I missed out on while taking a week off – but that was too lofty of a goal.  I will try and hit about 9-10k for a few weeks to try and make that up, and moving forward if I find that I can realisitcally put out that much work I might up my normal weekly goal.  That is as long as the ‘quality’ is still there.  I do find that I might be getting a little ahead of myself on my fantasy story – that I still do not have a name for – but there are little bits and pieces that I am strining together along the way, at night, over the weekend, on walks, etc.

Next week I want to work on a new issue of Away Team so I can have a backlog of those to publish once a month or every other month, just to put something out there.  I have been feeling lacking in having my work out in the public and pretty much still not having any other eyes on it, excluding famliy and friends.  So I might break down and try to shill for myself on Reddit, which I am not too keen on, but I gotta try everything I can if I want to be serious about this.

Tried to make that brief, but as I write more and more I am finding that I can NOT do that.  So, thanks for reading and I will see yall next week!
